Before you board
One night in Bali
Your expedition begins in Bali where you will enjoy an included overnight hotel stay. The following day, join a charter flight to Sorong and transfer to the pier to board Greg Mortimer and begin your expedition.

Indonesia: Cenderawasih Bay
The broad sweep of Cenderawasih Bay, off the northern coast of Papua, is known for its spectacularly biodiverse coral reefs. These waters are home to dolphins, dugongs and four different species of turtle, but the star attraction is the resident population of whale sharks, the biggest fish in the sea.

Sparsely populated and spectacularly beautiful, the Raja Ampat archipelago is a treasure trove of jungle-smothered islands, white sand beaches and some of the best diving in the world. The crystal clear waters are teeming with tropical fish, while on land you can see parrots, hornbills and birds of paradise.

Before you return
One night in Bali
Disembark your cruise in Sorong and transfer to the airport for your charter flight to Bali. Upon arrival at Bali Denpasar Airport, transfer to the Grand Hyatt Bali where you will enjoy an overnight stay. The following day, transfer to the airport for your overnight flight back to the UK.

How much time is spent ashore?
Itineraries are planned to deliver an unforgettable experience of the destination, so days are filled with landings ashore via the ship's fleet of Zodiacs (sturdy rubber boats) or exploration along the coastline. It will vary depending on itinerary and operators, so it's best to contact us to discuss but rest assured an expedition cruise is focused on the time you spend off the ship.
