As the Galapagos is located way out in the Pacific, everything has to be flown in. Expect Ecuadorian specialities alongside the international cuisine, beautifully presented in two dining locations.

The Restaurant

The stylish and inviting restaurant accommodates all guests at one leisurely open seating, enabling you to dine when and with whom you please. The menu in The Restaurant includes a wide range of international selections and local Ecuadorian specialities.

The Grill

Freshly cooked grilled meat and fish, ceviche, salads and sides or pizza are available to order at lunchtime, whilst in the evening, cook your own steaks, chops or giant prawns on hot rocks outside on deck.

Bars and lounges

On Silver Origin it's all about what's going on outside, so sit back and enjoy the view from the stylish bars and lounges.

An expedition cruise is a social experience par excellence. The elegant Explorer Lounge is where lectures and briefings take place during the day, while in the evening the space becomes a relaxing lounge bar with a pianist and an outdoor fire pit, where you can catch up on the day's events. The cosy Observation Lounge enjoys panoramic views, and is the place to relax with a book from the well-stocked library.

A Silver Origin cruise is all about the destination, so the naturalist guides from the National Park are key, working hard on board and ashore.

The expedition team present a daily briefing in the Explorer Lounge, combined with quick lectures from different individuals, and more in-depth presentations during sea time. Experts in many fields - including marine biology, birds, geology and more - will enhance your time on board and ashore.
