Twenty years cruising in Fiji means that Captain Cook Cruises is the acknowledged expert, with a carefully crafted choice of itineraries to suit all needs. Captain Cook knows the area inside out, and a warm welcome is assured because of their strong relationships with the local people.
There are just a few companies based year round in a specific area. When that happens, the cruise line and the destination become inextricably intermingled. Unlike infrequent visitors to the region, the resident cruise line builds powerful relationships ensuring that the local people are supported, and in return offer a warm welcome to the visitors. So a Captain Cook client can expect to experience real Fijian culture, face to face.
The MV Reef Endeavour carries just 130 passengers, and carries you to a new location, whether an island or a reef, every morning and afternoon. Longer itineraries take you further afield to Yasawa Island or Northern Fiji, or on rare occasions even further to Lau and Kadavu.
Choose from spacious suites or intimate cabins - either way the onboard experience is going to be the same, with a swimming pool on the ship and a glass bottomed boat and snorkelling and dive vessels for when you leave the ship. The snorkelling is great of course, and in addition there is an optional dive programme. Time ashore includes visits to local schools and communities.
The delight of being on board Reef Endeavour is that the local crew bring you a genuine Fijian welcome and insight into life in the islands.
