Cruising the spectacular fjords and channels of Patagonia Cruceros Australis operates two intimate vessels which provide the ultimate in exploration in this remarkable region. Due to Chilean Government regulations, there are a limited number of vessels that can sail these waters, therefore to see this beautiful wilderness in such an in depth and up close manner is only possible with Cruceros Australis.
The two ships operate 3 and 4 night voyages from and to Ushuaia at the tip of Argentina and Punta Arenas in the heart of the Straights of Magelian taking you in the one of the most breath-taking wildness regions in the world – South Pategonia and the Tierra del Fuego. You will see awesome glaciers, beautiful forests, a range of birdlife and even Penguins and Elephant Seals if you are lucky.
Cruceros Australis' onboard experts will be with you both on the ship - giving presentations and lectures on the local flora, fauna, geography and history – and off the ship as you see this wonderful landscape by Zodiac and walk through the untamed natural landscape.
Onboard the ships there are a range of lounges, inclusive meals and drinks as well as comfortable accommodation all with large picture windows to ensure you don't miss a thing.
We would recommend combining the 4night Ushuaia to Punta Arena voyage which boasts seven disembarkations and the opportunity to see penguins on Magdalena Island with a visit to Chile's Torres del Paine National Park or Argentina's Los Glaciares National Park.
