50 Years of Victory

50 Years of Victory is the world’s largest and most powerful nuclear icebreaker, able to break through ice 2.5 metres thick and offering completely unique itineraries, including a trip to the North Pole.

What we love

50 Years of Victory is an engineering marvel. Its spoon shaped bow allows it to crush thick ice and blaze a trail, driven by two nuclear reactors, through some of the most inhospitable areas of the Arctic. Comfortable public areas include a saloon for presentations during the day and socialising with fellow guests in the evening, a forward lounge, and even an indoor pool and saunas. For discovery the onboard helicopter provides reconnaissance, help in ice navigation and sightseeing, and there is also a fleet of zodiacs. Excellent accommodation offers views, TV and DVD player and private facilities.
