National Geographic Explorer

The flagship of the Lindblad fleet, the National Geographic Explorer is one of the world’s best-equipped expedition ships.

What we love

Originally built for service along the Norwegian coast, National Geographic Explorer underwent a complete redesign and rebuild before joining Lindblad in 2008. With an ice-strengthened hull for polar expeditions and Lindblad's signature 'Tools for Exploration', including an ROV, glass-bottom boat, an underwater cameraman, kayaks, zodiacs, and scuba diving equipment available on selected voyages, there is no ship better equipped for an expedition journey.
